Due to the extensive cancellations caused by extreme winter weather, we have had to make changes to the calendar for the remainder of the academic year to ensure students achieve important learning time milestones.
To help make up for weather-related cancellations, April 3 (Good Friday) will now be a full day of school rather than the previously scheduled early release day.
Additionally, the last day of school will now be Friday, June 26, rather than June 18. The last day of school will also be a full day instead of an early release day.
Thank you to all BPS stakeholders for your patience as the district has worked alongside the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, as well as BPS educators, to determine the most practical approach to making up the learning time lost due to winter weather.
