The Brockton Education & Housing Coalition invites Brockton families to attend the Tenant & Educational Rights Summit on Wednesday, October 28, from 5:30–7:30 PM at Shaw’s Center, 1 Feinberg Way, Brockton.

BPS will host a free mental health and wellness community resource fair on October 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shaw's Center.

Champion High School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring the rich literature, vibrant music, and culinary traditions of Hispanic and Latino cultures. To wrap up our celebration, Chartwells provided a special lunch featuring flavors that brought our learning to the table. Thank you to Chartwells for helping make this celebration memorable!

BPS will be conducting voluntary social-emotional learning screenings for students in grades 3-12. BPS conducts this screening twice per year, in the fall and spring, to evaluate students' social-emotional wellbeing.

Champion students who have a job may be able to earn academic credit for the work they complete outside school hours. Students will work with the school to complete a Massachusetts Work-Based Learning Plan and additional assignments connected to their employment.

Work study helps students build career-ready skills, connect classroom learning to real-world experiences, and document their growth and success in the workplace.
